Excursions

There are many beautiful excursions to be made around the Schwanenburg Pension:

• For example, you can walk to Buch Castle Park via the Helios Clinic.
• Lietzengraben, a nature reserve with Lake Bogensee, is also not far from Buch and can be reached on foot.
• Gorinsee lake – see also the recommendation below – is a longer walk, about 8 km away.
• By car, Liepnitzsee is a very good recommendation, about 18 km away. There is a beautiful hiking trail around the lake, which can be hiked in 1 to 1.5 hours.
• Bernau bei Berlin is about 10 km away, where you can walk along the old wall from the 15th century.
• In Werneuchen (approx. 15 km away) there is an old airport with large, unused warehouses.
• Berlin is not far away, with its numerous sights, museums, and events.
• The Karower Teiche nature reserve 
• The Schönower Heide nature reserve 
• Wandlitzsee lake and surrounding area
• Biesenthal Basin with the beautiful Hellsee
